The 3rd Annual ATTRACTISS Meeting Concludes in Budapest: A Productive Step Towards Innovation
The 3rd Annual ATTRACTISS Meeting wrapped up on October 17, 2024, after two days of engaging discussions and strategic planning. Hosted in the vibrant city of Budapest, the meeting brought together experts, researchers, and project stakeholders to reflect on the progress of ATTRACTISS and set a clear roadmap for the future.
Day 1 Highlights: Collaboration and Communication
The first day of the meeting focused on communication and internal alignment within the project. Discussions kicked off with an in-depth look at AKISConnect.eu, followed by a session on refining communication strategies for ATTRACTISS, modernAKIS, and EU-FarmBook. The afternoon sessions addressed planning key activities for 2024-2025, including cross visits, webinars, and strategies for expanding the project’s network and outreach. These activities are set to play a crucial role in further connecting research with practical agricultural innovation.
Day 2: Training and Future Planning
On the second day, attention turned to the planning of the upcoming phases. The morning session centered on identifying “silent actors” and setting up a timeline for future activities. Further discussions examined training opportunities and curriculum development to support project trainers. In the afternoon, participants tackled a needs assessment and addressed crucial links between various work packages (WP1, WP4, and WP5). The final discussions explored how to engage with stakeholders, particularly Managing Authorities, through a toolkit that will be developed as part of the project.
The meeting concluded with a shared sense of purpose and commitment to advancing agricultural innovation across Europe. The ATTRACTISS team is now set to implement the plans forged in Budapest, with exciting new initiatives and collaboration opportunities on the horizon.
