We’re excited to launch the upcoming Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programme, which promises to be an engaging and immersive experience for all participants. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect in the weeks ahead:
Key Dates and Structure
1. Introduction Webinars:
- Monday, 23rd September, 10:00–12:00 CET: First webinar (invite already sent).
- Monday, 7th October, 10:00–12:00 CET: Second webinar (invite already sent).
2. In-Person TTT Days in Budapest:
- Sunday, 13th October, 19:00: Kick-off dinner (optional) for those who can attend.
- Monday, 14th – Tuesday, 15th October: Full-day TTT sessions.
- Friday, 18th October: Half-day session focusing on micro-teachings and preparing your trainings back home.
3. Follow-Up:
After the in-person sessions, we’ll hold a series of online meetings to discuss challenges, share examples, and support your future trainings. Dates will be confirmed during our time in Budapest.
How We’ll Stay in Touch
- Official Communications: All critical information will be shared via email, with copies saved in a shared Drive folder for easy reference.
- WhatsApp Group: For immediate, informal communication. If you haven’t joined and would like to, let us know! You can mute notifications if needed.
We understand Whatsapp can be a bit invasive: we’d like you to be part of our exchanges, but feel free to mute this group if you need/want to by following these instructions.
Practical Information
- Online Meetings: These will take place via Teams. If you cannot join, please inform us 2 days in advance.
- In-Person Meetings: The training will be held at AKI Building, Zsil Street 3–5, Budapest. Marie Boitelet and Ana Allamand will be staying nearby, but feel free to choose accommodation that best suits you.
Costs
- The TTT course, refreshments, and lunch during the sessions are free.
- Travel, accommodation, and meals (except lunch) will need to be covered by participants or their organizations.
What You’ll Be Committing To
- Before Training: Attend both preparatory webinars.
- During Training: Participate fully in the 2-day programme in Budapest.
- After Training: Train at least 14 participants back home within six months, and join our ongoing trainer support group.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the TTT, you will:

- Build a plan for delivering interactive innovation training back home.
