ATTRACTISS training strengthens advisory capacities in Latvia

As part of its capacity‑building activities, ATTRACTISS delivered a dedicated training for Latvian advisors, hosted by the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre (LLKC).

At LLKC’s training centre in Lielozoli, Marleen Gysen (Boerenbond, ATTRACTISS partner) guided participants through key ATTRACTISS concepts that support innovation facilitation in practice. The training explored the Spiral of Innovation as a guiding framework, as well as the seven functions of an Innovation Support Service, encouraging participants to reflect on their own roles and experiences from daily advisory work.

The ATTRACTISS toolbox was also introduced, giving advisors the opportunity to work hands‑on with several tools and methods. Participants applied these tools to real challenges and concrete cases from their work with farmers, fostering peer exchange and practical learning.

This national training contributed to strengthening advisory capacities in Latvia and supports ATTRACTISS’ broader objective of empowering Innovation Support Services across Europe through practical, experience‑based approaches.
